A viking love story, it's something I haven't came across often in the varied world of literature. I enjoy a good viking story, and to add romance into the mix certainly sweetens the deal and adds to the pillaging and plundering with plenty of love and passion, and drama, to spice it all up.
And this story is a charming and engrossing little short story that offers a deep and compelling yarn to pass the afternoon as you enter a world of romance and love in a viking setting. I wish it could have been longer, to flesh out the fascinating romantic tale and explore the characters and their relationship, but, sometimes less is more, and adding too much can make it overblown and take away the appeal. And is it stands, it's still a great read that gives you just what you want in a romantic short story about vikings. Well worth an afternoon's read for some viking and romantic escapism.
Really enjoyable book! Eda, the heroine, is a likeable character without really any unrealistic traits. The book does pick up in suspense, but I wish it was longer.
Awesome ebook! The story gets better after the beginning and becomes your typical romance. I can't wait to see what's next from Sarah!

If you love Vikings and Romance, then "The Viking's Lover" is perfect for you! I loved Vali as a character. Something about him is so mysterious. I highly recommend this book!!!
I pick this rating because of the story about a woman who goes into this marriage to a Viking but it needed to be longer to find out what happened between the two
Seriously? This is not a book, nor is it a novela. It is a great short story, and Ms. Robbins is a skilled reader. But do not call this a novel.
